Summer Conference

Frequently Asked Questions

If a teacher has not already, how can one sign up for the conference?

*****You may enroll and work on a module at any time between July 15th at 8:00am to July 26th at 4:00pm.*****

As the modules will be self-enrollment, it is not necessary to sign up for a module in advance.

How many modules can a teacher complete?

You can complete up to five (5) new modules.

How will teachers be compensated for their time?

*****You will be paid $30.38 for the completion of one entire module.*****

How long will each module take to complete?

Each module will take approximately one hour to complete.  Because the modules are self-paced, completion time may vary with the average being one hour.

Will I be paid if I only complete part of the module?

*****You can begin work on a module at any time, stop working at any time, and resume your work at a later time without losing your progress.*****

Only fully completed modules will be processed for compensation.

Each module ends in a module completion survey that must be completed in order to submit your module for pay.

You are welcome to explore the learning resources in any module, but will only be paid if you complete the entire module.

What do I do if I need help completing a module?

Support will be available from 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Please reach out to your C&I coordinator or Jessica Coates for questions about the conference or the learning material.

Please use the help icon from the left-side blue menu in Canvas to call or message Canvas technical support.

Please call our IT support line at 623-435-7333 for additional support.

Can I be paid for completing the same module more than once?

Each conference module may be completed once for pay.   As this is the first summer of the new one hour module format, all modules are available for any teacher to complete for the first time.

All of the learning resources for any previously completed module remain available to refresh previously learned material.

Canvas keeps track of the work you have previously submitted.
