Screencastify and Screencastomatic are free tools to use for Screencasting; however, they are limited when using the free version.  Good news!  Loom is an effective screencasting tool that allows for unlimited recordings and a trimming editing tool for free!  All you have to do is verify your education email to access these features at no cost.  Both teachers and students are eligible to use this tool for free!

Please note that the district does not have any licenses for paid programs, such as Screencastify.  Some tools may be incompatible with our system and therefore may not be available for you to use if you decide to make a personal purchase for an alternative tool.  Please submit a ticket to IT before making any personal purchases.
